JOHOR BAHRU – The Johor government has unveiled the Smart Queue System (SQS), a groundbreaking QR code-based initiative designed to streamline patient access to specialist clinic services at Sultanah Aminah Hospital (HSA). This system marks a significant first for a government hospital in Malaysia.
Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi announced that the SQS, developed with an allocation of RM1 million, is set to be rolled out in phases, beginning July 1.
“Previously, patients had to arrive early to get separate queue numbers for the clinic and pharmacy. With the SQS, patients only need a single queue number for both services, making the process more convenient and significantly reducing overall waiting time,” Onn Hafiz stated during a press conference following his working visit to HSA.
A key feature of the SQS is its ability to send notifications to patients’ mobile phones as their turn approaches, enhancing efficiency and minimizing the need for physical waiting.
The Johor state government remains committed to improving services at HSA, with plans including the upgrading of eight wards, the surau (prayer room), and restrooms, all expected to be completed by year-end. Regarding the multi-storey parking project at the hospital, it is currently undergoing a value assessment (VA) lab process.

I do consider all the ideas you have presented for your post.
They are very convincing and can certainly work. Still, the posts are too short for newbies.
May just you please prolong them a little from next time?
Thanks for the post.
